I watch a lot of cartoons with my 4 year old - mostly because I like them myself and some to make sure it's "appropriate" for her - a lot of the jap-anime isn't.

And I catch a few favorite shows during the week after work - typically while sitting at my PC at home in the livingroom - I've got the home PC's set up on a table at an angle so I can glance over and see whatever I'm watching on the tube at the same time.

And then there is my growing DVD collection which is slowly replacing my VHS collection - I'll pop in a tape or disc when I can no longer stand the moronic commercials - and typically will work on a piece of chainmail armor while watching an action adventure.

I admit I'm a media junkie - pretty much the only things I don't watch are sports - shopping channels - and religious programs - and the idiotic sit-coms the networks are pushing these days. Most other things are fair game. Movies - documentaries - HGTV - the news - screensavers - SciFi - that about covers it.

The closest I come to "sports" is junkyard wars or several of the robot combat shows. I admire those technical achievements more than the pointless moving back and forth of an egg-shaped piece of pigskin or the pounding of small PVC balls across manicured lawns..... overpriced and pointless -

Not a huge TV watcher...

but the kids watch Nick at night a fair amount and Chel watches "lifetime" and I usually catch the occasional "Man Made Movies" on TBS and anytime they have a James Bond 007 movie :)

OK I will admit it..............I am a Trekie:)

I know some of you are too...come on now fess up :D

I will watch almost anything sci-fi at least once..after that its usually news and discovery channel. I also love junk yard wars. And I dont know why exactly but I like antiques road show even though I don't have any of them to speak of, unless you count the P166 on a 486mobo I have at home LOL. Which is about to be replaced with a 1.4t-bird screamer, just waiting for newegg to ship parts this week:)

Mostly we just rent dvd's and watch movies a couple times a week.

I watch it with my daughter Nick and such but rarely ever otherwise, I never have in my life. To me TV has always been absurd and geared to the mentality of a moron. I watch my races and some Football but........its for the brain dead

Believe it or not, I watch less that 2 hours of TV a week. I'm not a TV fan at all. I'm more or a monitor fan... ;)

My faorite show is" Who's line is it anyway?" Both the old one and the new one with Drew Carey. That show has me busting a gut laughing every time I watch it:D
Second would have to be The Screen Savers on Tech TV.
Other than that I give control of the remote to my fiancee.

WooHoo!! I think I'd like that show! What channel is it on? :D

I've watched about 5 hours worth in the last year. But decided it would be a good way to spend a little quite time with my son. You know when you don't talk but you're just together.

No, it just stops her from telling me I spend too much time on the computer:D
Besides, I'm not into TV that much anymore. Computers are alot more fun
