Help Please

I loaded up eccp. I'm running the cmd line ver ecp109S on my dualie. the OS is 2000 pro, problem, the clients will not stay running longer then a minunt. then they close all by them selfs. I tryed as admin. too and it makes no differentance, but seti cmd line client via seti driver runs fine, and no I'm not running both apps at once. any idears?
Ih i've virus scanned the machine too and nothing, I also have turned off norton and still makes no differentce. it never did this befor when I ran eccp.

I've never used the ND SMP client, so I have no idea what might be causing the error.

That client is said to be way slow, anyway. What you might try is installing two instances of KenG6's client in two directories (like eccp1 and eccp2). They will run simultaneously, as long as you run one GUI and one CLI. This will give you a lot better output than the standard ND SMP client.

That's how I run it on my duallies, and it works pretty slick.

Don't know either. But yea, running them as 2 exes is much better.

Make sure after copying the original install to another dir you delete "eccinfo" and "plist" from the new dir. And when you start them up for the first time, start one, thenh wait a min or two and start the other. This makes sure the plist is different so you don't get duplicate numbers.

Also, you can run two CLIs as long as you rename one of the exes.

I run 2 cli clients also. Much faster! Create shortcuts to the run commands on your desktop too. Makes it very easy to fire up the clients.
