SPAM FIGHTING super hero software behemoth Microsoft has come up with a wizard way of stopping those who send spam from its free Hotmail accounts. It is going to charge.
The Mighty Vole has worked out that most spammers who use Hotmail accounts don't actually log into the site like most users, they operate their accounts through so-called "Outlook" connections. Read more at Inquirer (http://www.theinquirer.net//?article=18718)

So, while keeping the service free, Voley is going to charge users who try to connect to Hotmail using Outlook. What about OE? - I got it, switch to Mozilla (hehe), or whatever the usual M$ bash is.
Seriously though - it almost sounds like a profit making scheme rather than a spam fighting tactic. The only way that this would work (which you won't see) is if M$ went after the spammers after identifying them.
