Figured I would give this DC a whirl again and see how FAD measures up. I just tossed in almost 7 gigs and may put it on my dual 400 as well.
But man does it take forever to do a job? :eek:

Do they all take forever? Nah, but lately many do. It really depends on which "mollie" is being run, and which project you've chosen. There are times where a WU ( work unit ) might only take an hour or less.

excellent!...glad to see another new member to the team. :)

some queries take longer than others. currently, it's the 1HYV's (AIDS) mollies which are taking very long. on the other hand, the longer the molecule takes to finish, the more points you get at the end...so all it means really is just trying to find a way to be a little more patient. :)

one of the nice things about this project is you can control which queries you want to run. if oyu have a slower machine that crunches FAD, try running some of the shorter running queries.
