This is nice - Thanx All!! Was crankin' along with ya'all til Frances hit us - HARD. Ran out of electricity for about 11+ days. Even with a new generator, the router was havin a tizzy with non-standard electric... wouldn't get or stay connected. We're back now, only got two cows, for now - as we get fixed from the storm, more should come up I hope.

yeah, it's definitely been a rollercoaster ride for many Florida'ers this hurricane season. my sympathies...hope you can get things back to normal again soon.

All ya'all - I've been here for a little while!! Just got knocked out of the loop by Frances for a couple of weeks.
Didn't get this kind of welcome when I first enlisted - kinda nice tho..... Thanx!! :):);)

Hafta see just how bad Florida Power & Lite sticks it to us..... 1 month minus 12 days without electricity is 18 billable days. Betcha I get an electric bill just as if we never lost power - ought to sue them for inconvenience! I quit taking cold showers over 40 years ago!
Finally got a generator, but gas for it was about 25.00 per day, + food, ice, etc...... And to make matters worse, at the time of the storm, I had been out of work for a little over 3 months - so money was just like the electricity - aint got none!! Got even less now, but I'm working again - the curse of the drinking man!!

All my FAD efforts will go towards diabetes - the wife is an insulin diabetic - adult onset! Used to have a fair farm for RC something or other, but gave them all away. Guess I'll just hafta start building again......
