kazaa illegal operation

I keep getting an illegal operation after about five minutes of running this program . I shut it down and open it up again it will work for a while then , same thing happens . I have win 98 sec edition .i tried unistall and reinstall .same thing ,I tried just using that program with nothing else running in the back ground same problem .has anyone one else have this problem ?

It could be due to a corrupted kernal32.dll file... Extract this file from your Windows installation CD and try replacing it... Or you can download from here (http://www.techadvice.com/specs/files_dl.asp?fnid=66340)

I had that everytime I went to find "same from user" uninstall and re installs didn't help. My remedy was to upgrade to the latest version and all was well for me. I am not using 98 though
