Need to hook up T V to computer

I would like to hook up my wife's Dell Dimensions 8200 to her 27 in. TV. My local Best Buy tells me they have a card that will do this, but the TV must have a " S-Video " plug on it. Guess what, looked all over front & back, and no S-Video plug. Anyone have an idea how I can do this without buying a new TV? Looking to spend about 100 bucks.

Well I know that ATI makes a TV card that uses the "RCA" jacks besides the S-Vid connector

There is also a SVid to RCA avaliable from places like Radio Shack.

YOu may want to buy a new video card such as this one:

www.newegg.com REFURBISHED: Pine Technology Geforce2 MX400 Card 64MB Model PVT07GCT With TV-Out for $39. Just search their site for "with TV-out" and they have a bunch of video cards with composit (RCA) video out.

I just took a look at the Dell site (http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/products/model_dimen_3_dimen_8200.htm#tabtop) and it looks like some of the 8200's have a video card with TV out already. Which video card does yours have?

Boy, do I feel stupid. Never thought to look at the card. But not as stupid as I would have felt taking a card back to Best Buy because I already have one in the machine!. or worse yet, trying to get Newegg to take back a card for same reason. I looked, and sure enough, there's a s-video socket next to the moniter socket. So all I need to do is run down to Radioactivity Shack and pick up a s-video to RCA adapter ( was there earlier today and they have one ) and a s-video cable and I'm good to go.
