Remove Win95 - Install Win98SE

What are the chances of doing this, on a machine with software already set up?

I have allowed the time to backup, wipe and install 98SE anyways, I just wondered on the potential for;

given a machine with Win95 installed on c:\
MS Office installed on c:\
(other software installed on partition m:\ )

Boot to DOS, deltree windows, install Win98SE, and reboot, and still access existing software?

Yep, you could do that, but other software would still need to be reinstalled to get it into the registry. :o That's the beauty of windoze, Bob. :rolleyes:

Linux would be a bit easier in that respect... ;)
