Ok I thought I would ask the membership what they wanted to
do in my contest now since you all had a taste of Trivia and Lotto
Trivia is fun but it seems a little unfaire to all as some members excell at it and some don't


A Lotto is not as fun as trivia but I think it if fair to all members
and is varry easy to put toghter

So I thought I would be fair and let the membership pick what thay wanted

Yeah, that sounds good.

Anyone can get the miles to the moon from Google, but then to sit down and work out the rest.

Similar to your last trivia set, how much weight in water fills this swiming pool.

Maybe some other mathematical questions, like this train is traveling at 100mph and takes 1 hour to get from to ... but this train is traveling at 150 and makes 3 stops her there and everywhere, which gets there first etc etc.

It might (read will) mean more work for you to set the questions, but infinitly better IMO

Google is just too easy for a majority of questions, the chances of getting an exact mathematical question/answer on google is slim to say the least.

Either way, your time and devotion to this team and your efforts to get people interested is commendable.

i think a logic puzzle would be good.

trivia & math tests aren't very good IMO for a number of reasons. at least with logic puzzles you really have to reason it out and the nature of the puzzle does not inhetently favor any one particular segment of the members.

or you could simply go with lotto and make it pure chance which isn't bad either, sometimes.

I'd be happy with whatever. Perhaps, since you throw 2 contests a month, you could alternate between a lotto & trivia contest.

That might be good under the presumption that the moon is in direct line and the closest point measured from sea level. I was thinking more along the lines of the water question. That was pretty good.
