In response to the official launch of Microsoft's MSN Music service this morning, Apple has taken the opportunity to remind people who's on top of the music download business. The company issued a statement obtained by The Mac Observer that says the score so far in this business is 125 million downloads for Apple through the iTunes Music Store, and 0, so far, for Microsoft. Apple also wanted to remind potential MSN Music customers that MSN Music downloads won't be playable on an Apple or HP iPod. The statement from Apple: Read statement at Mac Observer (http://www.macobserver.com/article/2004/09/02.5.shtml)

Ahhh, Apple, Ahh, Isn't your format not able to be used initially on other MP3 players also.... DUHHH!!! Great selling point there Guy's!!! Jeeez Man, When the heck are these 2 companies gonna stop acting like little kids & grow up. I know that my above statement is partially untrue & that there are ways to get iTunes music to play on WMA based MP3 players (& vice versa), but seriously though, when One company wants to make sure the other realizes that their format won't run on the competitions Hardware, only for that companies format not to work on competeing hardware also is not only petty but pathetic.

Pssst... apple... I THINK THATS THE WHOLE DANG POINT!!!!:D
