I can make up a self install program in no time, and have it work right the first time.
gota love self extractor and winace.

I'd have to say CorelDRAW is my favorite app since it does so much and I use it all the time. And it's soooo easy to use (which is good because Corel's support is sorry).
Vector graphics, word processing, labels, page layout, etc.
I use ThumbsPlus a lot also. (image database/graphics editor)
And maybe FrontPage and ListPro (http://www.iliumsoft.com/listprod.htm)

I don't want this to come across as smart - but I use the ones that work - I'll try the rest - but usually time is at a minimum - I go with the old reliables - makes running stuff easier - at least I know its faults! - wiz

Hmmm I just got mine up and running again the other day for the kids to play on. IBM ValuePoint 466DX2/Dp with a pny 133 overdrive and 32MB's ram. Do you have any parts for this thing? More cache and video memory would be nice.

Jad:
IBM ValuePoint 466DX2/Dp, excate same one I had :) , was a good `ol girl too, big kick @$$ 550 mb Hdd, whooping 16 mb ram, later got it up to 32mb and super fast 14.400 supra expressi modem. tho she had a tendancy to crash when my room temp got up in the high 90's, lol, looking back now, I aways though it was the netscape browser that was causing it to crash. I didn't know doo do about computers and heat removal options then.
man I wish I knew this last week. I give her away last monday.
I do have a 256k cache module, I can't remember if I got it for her or not. I'll dig it out of my parts drawer and send ya it's info.

Sorry mntsnow, my email has been corrected. However I'm moving at the end of this month, and my mail account will no longer be valid. I'm not sure what I will do for a mail account, but I will remove it from my profile and change once I have details.
Thanks, Biff

Biff you might look into getting a XtremePcCentral email account :) which would help support the cost of running this site... 2 bucks a month bought in 6 month blocks of time. There is a thread in the "stickies" forum that lists two ways to help support this site as well as get some added benifits from it :)
Thanks for the heads up mntsnow.
