View Full Version : New Web SIte.. Maybe?
Hey Extremers,
I got to thinking {bad news} and thought: since everyone, or almost everyone, is into over-clocking this or that. Why don't I make a site that has my benchmarks on it. This would be strickly for comparison since my Machine is strictly Default. There has been NO over-clocking done on this machine.
I would use: sandra 2002
HD TAch 2.61
3Dmark2001.
I would post all benchmarks......I think I have a decent machine to do this with... Athlon XP 2000+, 512 PC2100 Kingston ram, etc..
Now After all this sucking up, the real question....
Would it be worth it??????

:) I take it your machine is pretty hot not overclocked... kind of a see if you can beat it kinda thing? :D If so would they post their specs to your site?

I would be interested in seeing it
No I guess it is not hot considering all the specs and score I've seen here and at techimo. But I am proud of it. I jumped from a PIII-1000 to the athlon 2gig unit. This would be just so that tweakers would have a comparison againt a standard 2000 athlon. no tweaks what so ever has been due to it.
If I can upload the site , it will be online in the next few days..

Just remember people, this is my first try.

Rick
Alright people,
Be nice to me.
Here is the url: http://home.earthlink.net/~dustyrun/
At the moment the feedback page doesn't work. It says that the frontpage extensions need to be in use on the web server.. I will find out about this or remove the feedback page... this site will be constantly revised..
If anyone has any advice, tell me...ok?
This was a fun one.. my first try and it only took about 10 hours off and on. redid it about 3 times and lost it once.

I have a question.... When you use the feedback page and press submit, it says that it needs the frontpage server extensions...
What are these??? I am using the web space provided by earthlink...
educate me, Please...
Rick
edit: just found where to check in frontpage to see if on that page the extension is on...
