Colour codes

Hi,

This is my predicament:

I want to have a colour theme that can be easily read in both the dark and the light forum colour themes.

Try these as an example, or post your own...

Hmmm! Black is actually quite readable in Emerge theme too! ( Emerge is the dark theme, for those phillistines (TT) that haven't used it! )

In fact I've just been and checked Bob, and I don't know whether I'd agree with you on black being quite readable in Emerge.

All the colours posted by Win2 above are readable per se. It's just they're not sharp, they're kind of fuzzy and blurry around the edges. The least blurry of them IMO is magenta. Look and the difference between the 8s and the 9s in the magenta and the green for example.

Your black posting above, in comparison, is really sharp and clear. Is that in bold incidentally ? Genuine question !

Yes, it's in Black and in Bold, TT!

I use Emerge because I spend a lot of time here in artificial light conditions, and it is sooo much easier on the eyes!

Bearing in mind I run only laptops, so changing screen angle / position is instant!

Must be a bloody huge candle ! And/or you eat a couple of tonnes (metric tons, note) of carrots a day.

In Emerge the green and magenta are fine, and the 8s and 9s are easily distinguishable, but for me your bold black...well, it blends nicely in with the dark background anyway, and I'm sure the camoflage experts would approve of the combination for night-time ops ! Maybe you have a deep hidden desire to avoid being confronted with the stats every day, and would prefer to let your own imagination run riot...

I understand now that Sharder must use the Emerge theme - explains why he always find old "new" members all of a sudden, and welcomes them in to - you've got it - the light !!!

Good Morning Sir.

For me, on Default, the second darker blue one is appreciably less blurred...it's almost as though it's in bold compared with the lighter one. Even darker maybe ?

But Post 14 was best !

I'll let the guys using Emerge talk for themselves.
