Morning y'all and welcome to another end of week special :)

Not a bad week overall, although we are 876 thousand points down on last week, and quite a low finish to the week :(

Not quite sure what happened, all members look like they are outputting as normal - See what happens next week I suppose, could be long running jobs that haven't completed yet?

The automatic stats are coming on in leaps and bounds, although I have had a few problems with the stats program on daily updates.

I have created a web server for the stats, available here (http://win2kuser.myftp.biz) It is on a 1 meg line (actually runing at 1140kbps ish) and more than enough bandwidth usage to cope. Please let me know if you experience any problems with it as I will run it from a dedicated server if necessary, it is currenty running from my main server which handles day to day tasks, internet etc, as well as the FaD queue etc :)

A BIG thanks to Wizzard~Of~Ozz for the HTML work involved and output files etc etc etc. Please all give him a large pat on the back :)

I could technically output my stats data in html form, but it would take too long to adjust the code routines for html routines etc. Woz's outputs are spot on, first time everytime :D

It looks like the 1fgi's have finished, can't seem to download any, but there seems to be a new kid on the block 1yet - quite a bit slower than the 1fgi's so far. Not even sure what they are (cancer I think), should look - my bad :bunny:

Anyway, it's easter, so a big happy easter to you all, it hasn't been cancelled at all, the wabbit made a full recovery (he was just stunned), and will be handing out chocolate to a child near you now :)

:p :) Dont' worry W2K . . . I'll be taking a little break either the end of the month, or the middle of May. :rolleyes:

I'll be spending a glorious 2-3 days in the hospital when they replace the left hip with a new, improved, steel on steel model. :D During my enjoyable, painfree at last stay, I will not have internet access or access to my herd, so it will be on auto until I get home. :rolleyes: (Now, if I can get some more RAM for that 100MHz laptop . . . . . and get W98 loaded before I go in, I may just take it with me! :bunny: )

Anyway, when I get home, the first thing I will be doing is uploading all the finished jobs that didn't auto upload. :p

Then will come the 3 weeks of PT, in prep for return to light duty at work. At the 6 week point, I should be back to full duty and pain free at last. :D (20 years I've fought replacement, but now it's time! :cool:

I put an A4 poster up on the notice board at work about FaD and the team etc, someone took it down after a week. I gave another one to my Shift Manager, he put it up, but the following day is was taken down again, 3 times I have done this now.

The notice board is locked, so it must have been removed from there by a manager somewhere, but everyone I have talked to knows nothing about its removal. I get the impression that they are just not interested in it :(

The anoying thing is someone is advertising some software for sale, get this, it was bundled in a scanner he bought for £50, and he is selling it for £60 :eek: that notice has been up for 3 months now...

Who ever it is, I wonder if their attitude would change if they actually got Cancer or something nasty...

Oh well, just have to upgrade the herd at home then to compensate :p :)

See that's the kind of thing that just ruffles my feathers (open door for TT :p ). Apparently whoever took it down doesn't have the balls to talk to you about it in person so they just take it down. And it also wouldn't surprise me if it's just that ONE person that isn't for it. Now if EVERYONE in the company just isn't interested...I can see taking it down. But your poster has just as much right (if not more in my book!) to be up there then some guy wanting to re-sell software for a higher price then it's worth! :mad: What a bunch of crap...

Ok, bad news. I need some money (rapidly), and so, with regret, am selling 2 of my higher spec crunchers.

As a result, my output will be down around 25% on this week, but the others may all get to stay. Time will tell.

That is life though I'm affraid. I am trying to get my herd up as much as I can now, 'cus time the next little 'un or two arrives, money will be tight in this household as well, and I might have to reduce the herd too.

Don't forget though that you are in a reletively new job, and you are young. Things will get better and stronger, it just takes time.

Even if you can only run 1 computer, it all helps, and ANY input into this team and project is better than none.
