Tiscali / IE6 Query

I wonder if anyone can help me - a friend has just got Tiscali broadband - thro the telephone line/modem - now, the problem is, when he tries to connect through Tiscali, it loads up ticali.co.uk but then a box appears with an error message saying "Ineternet Explorer could not open http://www.tiscali.co.uk/broadband", then when you click ok you get the page saying "could not be displayed etc." However, he can get onto the internet just by going through Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook is working fine as well.

Is there some sort of a problem with some settings somewhere? Is it a problem with IE6? (we checked the tiscali site and that is fine via another connection).

If anyone can offer some advice I'd be most grateful.

Have you checked the Connections in IE, is it still trying to achieve a dial up connection?

<Edit: In the Tools,Internet Options, Connections,

Never Dial a connection should be selected!>
