:( On start up of my pc it comes up with cmos memory wrong.
How can I fix this please.. I have changed the nic/cad battery but its still coming up with it..What can i do..:confused:

Welcome to XPC! Glad to have you aboard!

First off, make sure you put the battery in correctly or the CMOS will not get the charge. If you have the battery in correctly, just go into the BIOS and just exit and save. To get into the BIOS just Hit the HOT KEYS that the screens says to hit. Most motherboards are DELETE or ALT-F1. Consult your manual or documentation to get there. Thats should make it go away.

Also if your BIOS battery that has been replaced is KNOWN to be good, also make sure your CMOS CLEAR jumper is not set to clear..

You need to go into your bios and reset the time and date.
