XPC Gaming server...What to do?

Ok...Thinking of setting up a XPC members only gaming server...What games do people want...and what softwares will I need to get? Certain games/certain times/certain nights?

well unreal and counterstrike are still popular games.... i dunno maybe you can host some of those racing games jadison and ndc play...i never played them so dont know how they work :(

How about some Serious Sam 1 or 2? Really good game in my opinion. Most non-stop shooting game I've seen yet! :)

Keep the ideas coming... I plan on giving this a bit of time so I dont go out buying a bunch of games and then not have people enjoy them :)

I don't think you need any special software...the games themselves should provide options to set the computer up as a dedicated server. Once set as a dedicated server though, you can't use that computer to play the game...just in case you didn't know.

Here are the games I own that would work for XPC Gaming Server:
- Counterstrike
- Half-Life
- Team Fortress Classic
- Opposing Force

I'd love to play Serious Sam 1/2, but don't have it and don't have the money for it. :(

UT - goty ed - the only thing I play - had to keep upgrading my box till it run the game! - wiz
