Realplayer and Windows Task Manager

My Realplayer slows down at the end of the video file and takes a long time to return to the start point(needs to return to start point than can close)


Just had WinXP and I don't know how to to read the Windows Task Manager.
I want to find out how much ram is free (in Win9x it is in the System properties)



These are not really big problems but hope someone would have answers.

CPU: Pentium 4
Memory: 256 RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (HP)
Internet Speed: Cable
