WMP8 - can't run in fullscreen

Now, I have a question. There is a problem with one film. In WMP8 it don't run (only music), so I run it in WMP6.4.
BUT. This film don't want to run in fullscreen resulting in a system crash (BSOD related to NV4_DISP, but I'm pretty sure the purpose is not in drivers. Anyways I tried another driver, the problem lasts the same.)
This movie only runs in windowed mode (and can be resized, it this info will help). The problem is only with this movie.
I have the latest (or, one of the latest) DivX codecs (5.00 PRO), so, what's the problem?

I had the same kinds of issues with games not working in fullscreen...I resolved it to an automatic update by Windows XP for some system device.

Since rebuilding, I disabled all that update crap and haven't had a problem since.
