OK, OK, and now some questions.
I have P3-800 @ 133FSB OC'ed to 1GHz @ 166FSB.
You are guys worried about those f****** temps...
Now, let's see... I have ThermalTake Golden Orb... OK... Next... A standart Thermal Paste.
The fan is really loud... Adjusted the voltage to 7V DC. Oh, now it is much much quieter... Don't hear it any more.
Now, let's see the temps... Launched a beautiful LC3 program, which does a very good things (don't wanna say what exactly - if you are really interested it it - find in www.google.com - but this program loads the CPU to 100%). And, finally, after a four days of constant work, let's see the temps...
Launched SiSoft Sandra (the program is still running)... 54-55C !!!
Wow, how high temps, will you cry !!! How only could he run such CPU, to say more, a 25% OC'ed CPU (many Athlons don't OC to even 20% and I successfully tried 35%, but I should use SoftFSB program in this case, which is not comfort for me), with a low-voltaged FAN !!!
But I say you: don't be enclosed in those CPU temperatures. My system is of great stability, never gave me any troubles connected with temps, so WHY TO WORRY ABOUT ???
You buy coolers and pastes and even more big and expensive tools to make the temps of your CPU 2C lower...

I SAY TO YOU: FORGET ABOUT THIS !!! THE ONLY WAY IT CAN BE USED IS THAT YOU HAVE A CORPORATE SERVER AT YOUR HOME.
IF YOUR SYSTEM RANS WELL AND IS STABLE, FORGET ABOUT ALL THOSE SILVER COMPOUNDS, COPPER HEATSINKS AND 10000RPM FANS !!!

BTW: No any offence. I just have such mood. :|

All that is great but THE BIG QUESTION is how long will it last? ;)

I had a Celeron 566@850 for 1 1/2 yrs only before I cooked the mobo

All OC'ers know or should know that you greatly depreciate the life of your components inside that case of yours whenever you OC. It's not just the CPU, your sound card, video card, NIC, modem, motherboard, everything is overclocked when you increase the BUS speed (see FSB) of your machine.
Generally the life of your CPU (as well as the life of the rest of your components) will be shorter when OC'ing.

But, most of us will be upgrading our components before 2-3 years rolls around so we really don't worry about it much.
I had an OC'ed Pentium 200MMX to 250MHz for 2 years before I upgraded to K6-2 500...now I noticed higher temps and had to adjust the voltage higher as well.

Just make sure you have proper case cooling when OC'ing because ALL of your components are OC'ed not just the CPU. :)

The lower the temp the better.

Of course I say that since I'm still trying to figure a better heatsink than the Tt7+ to keep my OC P4 cooler than ambient+20º
