I wanted to know how you set up a case that has six fans? All teh fans come with pigtail conectors but I am not sure exactly on were they plug in. Help the noob...

I also am not sure where you are supose to place the CPU temp. reader? Do you just tape it to the CPU or around teh CPU? What about the HD temp gauge? Where are you supose to secure that, to the top of the HD? If I wanted to place a temp gauge on my GPU, where do u attach that too? What do u use to attach the temp readers? Tape? lol

thanks for the info...you guys/gals rock!!

1. Attach the pigtails inline with a powerlead coming from the power supply. Try to spread the load over a couple of the power leads. If needed you can buy "Y" adapters to give you more outlets (assuming your power supply is powerful enough to handle the load you will be putting on it)

2. Usually people will try to attach it next to the cpu core die to get the most accurate temp reading. DO NOT place it ontop of the die and then the heatsink ontop of it as that would prevent the heatsink from seating properly and you will end up with an overheated and most likely a damaged cpu.

3. I personally attach the HD temp gauge to the spindle bearing mount as that is usually the hotest part of a HD.

4. Again like the CPU place the guage as close to the GPU without unseating the heatsink and fan.

5. I personally use themal adheasive glue but you can also use thermal tape if that is easier for you.

Thanks for the info.

Is it bad to connect some of the fans to your MOBO?
The board has room for two aux fans, cpu fan, chipset fan, gpu fan, and I think one more.
