ok guys for quite some time I been trying to get in to the remote management of my Ciso 678...
here is how I have it set

set bridging management enabled
set int eth0 address *.*.*.* (Internal IP set by router)
write
reboot
Set web remote *.*.*.*
Set web port *****
write
reboot

And still I cant get in.... any ideas why?
TIA! :)

Is is possible that your ISP is blocking traffic on the WAN side at the port you are trying to access?

I doubt it because the port is set to 34000

and how were you and from where are you trying to connect to it it remotely?

Set web remote *.*.*.*
Set web port *****
write

Me thinks you might have missed a step....

set web ENABLE
set web remote *****
set web port *****

then write and reboot.....looks like you set the remote and port but you didnt ENABLE the actual service :)
