I need some help! I can not connect to my computer running BFTP server. ( I have 2 computers behind a Linksys firewall/router.) I have tried everything I can think of. I was using an older version, v1.5 I think, for a long time and it worked just fine. Then, suddenly, I couldn't connect anymore. It just times out. I thought my router was malfunctioning and not opening up the ports, so I upgraded to a better one. Still, I get the same problem. No matter which ports I open up, I still can't gain access to BFTP. (Yes, I opened the ports on the PC running the server program.) I've tested the ports to make sure they aren't blocked, and they aren't. I also made sure that the port I was listening on BFTP server was the same that I had opened up on my router. I've since upgraded to version 2.11, but still no luck. The newer version has features that the older one didn't. I've tried using the passive mode, the dynamic mode, and a fixed IP address. Nothing works. It just times out. Any suggestions? I'm desperate!
