Digital media firm Roxio Inc., the owner of the Napster online music service, posted a widened fiscal third-quarter loss Wednesday amid continued weak software sales and costs for the relaunch of Napster late last year. The company said its online music service has gotten off to a strong start, however, and is set to continue to grow aggressively this year. Santa Clara, Calif.-based Roxio posted a fiscal third-quarter loss of $25.6 million, compared with a year-earlier loss of $9.2 million.
