Here's an inside look at the alpha build of Office.NET complete with screenshots of all of the typical Office programs including a new addition: Scribbler.
My personal impressions on the "new look" are meager to say the least, but then again this is the alpha build so I'm sure several changes including cosmetic lie in the course of the full OEM build.

Check out the screenshots and new addition to the Office.NET package here. (http://www.officexp.nu/#Office%20.NET%20Screendumps)

Post your comments on the "new look" here.

I appears that the scribblier is an advanded form of the WinWord program.

Frankly to be honest. I haven't used xp anything yet but from all the screen shots I have seen over the last several months, I am not thrilled with the bubble look. SEems tooooooooooo femalish to me. Ugh!

Alth it would be nice to be able to have more than one notepad item open at the same time without it having opening up a complete new task item at the bottom of the screen.

I've read a lot about some of the new features, and it doesn't seem like it's worth the upgrade for me at this point in time. I'm doing just fine with Office 2000 Standard Ed. I don't even use Powerpoint and Excel that much except for charts/graphs for my hardware/software reviews and articles. I use Outlook to keep tabs on pretty much everything, and Word takes care of all my authoring needs. Definitely no need for me to upgrade! :)

From comparing the screenshots to my Office XP, doesn't look very much different -except for scribbler and .net search windows.
