What to do if computer freezes about six minutes after you turned it on
If this is a problem u are having this might help….
IT is a possibility that your computer is over heating.
There is a fan in side the computer that blows on a special chip and this fan may
have quit working. The chip is called a CPU = Central Processing Unit.
This chip gets hot enough with out the fan to burn the skin.
Now if you would just follow these steps u should have tour answer.
(1) turn off computer then open up the case usually a side panel
(2) do not touch any thing in side because all parts in side are sensitive
(3) Leave case cover off and turn computer on
(4) Look at the front view of the fan below
(5) Is it spinning?
If no theirs your problem!
Hear is a side view of the fan.
Layout
The top is the fan.
The middle is the heat sink and the bottom is the CPU
When you go to buy a new fan you’re going to get a new heat sink and fan. So if I was you I would just upgrade the fan and heat sink to a better one than the one that was on it because the bigger the fan the better cooling and the bigger the heat sink the better cooling.
