View Full Version : No thumbnails in win2k???

In win2k how do you get file explorer to show thumbnails? The option is not even available under view.

IT ghosted all of them from one that had the service packs installed. I doubt they have the IE and other updates installed.

It's a training room full of computers, so the easiest fix you can think of please :).

Are you talking about these: Under 'My Computer' , open file folder and then go to the view menu and click 'thumbnails'?
It's always been there on our install of w2k - question is what part of it was not installed to allow the thumbnail selection in view? I don't think it comes from IE updates - we aren't running the latest of that.

Thanks, I will look into it.

Someone also mentioned it could have to do with all the web stuff being turned off (classic desktop).
