... ICE STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 4 PM CST SUNDAY...

FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. THE BEST OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FREEZING RAIN TO FALL WILL BE BETWEEN 2 AM AND NOON SUNDAY. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A QUARTER TO A HALF OF AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

REMEMBER... AN ICE STORM WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR HIGHLY LIKELY.

ROADS... BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES IN THE WARNING AREA WILL LIKELY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS. ACCUMULATION OF ICE ON ROADWAYS WILL MAKE TRAVEL TREACHEROUS. ICE ACCUMULATIONS COULD ALSO CAUSE TREES AND POWERS TO BECOME HEAVILY BURDENED DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE ICE."

Man I hope it passes but it lookes as we are going to be in the center of it. I like snow but ice I do not. This will be the 2nd time this year but last time we were only to get 1/2" and we got 2 1/2". I have to head to work @ 5 AM right in the middle of it so looks like I will be getting up early and headed off a bit early to get there in time as I live 10min from the plant and the city never treats the roads till after 7 AM :(

same for texas. a cold front is dropping sleet.. AND I AM AT WORK :(
